Well, I didn't do much of what I said I was going to do writing/reading wise over my month and half holiday break. I go back to uni on the 27th of July, which happens to be my big sister's birthday as well.
I only managed to read a couple more books, and start reading some, but then give up:
-
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
-
The Bride Stripped Bare by Anonymous.
-
The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood (Got almost half way)
-
Confessions of an Ugly Step Sister by Gregory Maguire (Got just over half way)
-
The Colour of Magic and
Light Fantastic in graphic novel form by Terry Pratchett
-
Midnight Pearls by Debbie Vigue`
As for writing, well I didn't do much of that either as those who watch my work may have noticed. Neither did I get to get rid of (and in the nicest possible sense) of all the deviations I'm yet to read. They manage to creep up on me. I managed to get it down to 16 at some point, now it's back to 22. *sigh*
Aside from dA stuff, I managed to achieve some things during my holidays. Found a new place to move into, which is cool. I have to be out of my old place by the 1st of August, so I'll be packing and moving next week, whilst trying to do my first week of uni's classes and study. Fun!
And I decided that I would go see my sister in December for 3 weeks. She moved to Canada at the beginning of the year, so it'll be my first time overseas and the second time seeing snow. Yay! The only downer is that I have to find a way of saving $2000 by the end of November, because we leave on the 29th of November. So I'll hopefully do that somehow!
Oh, and there's actually quite a few TV shows and films I want to see at the moment.
- (500) Days of Summer
- Adam
- Cherry Bomb
- Tin Man (TV mini-series)
And I think there's more. I can't remember the rest.
Oh, oh, and I turn 21 in August. Exciting I know

Only if I have a party, it'll be a tiny, low budget one due to the holiday plans. But that's ok, my sister's worth it.

Anyway kids, I reckon I've babbled on enough.
